Biased Healthcare Debate

Want more on the current health care debate? Here it is from the left.

Here it is from the right.

Let the mud slinging begin. BTW, the intrade contract for the deal to be made by the end of the year is the chart. Losing popularity?

Update: A link to Friedman's take (HT Mankiw)

  1. Dan Boyette speaking:
Why not simply use the public option as a way to get costs under control? Because medical care is not a luxury item the consumer is at an unfair bargaining position. Then again, it may be more economical to raise taxes and pay for vital healthcare entirely through government funding. Cut out the middle man and tell people that if they want to become rich then urgent medical care (ie not plastic surgery) is not the road for them, and pay doctors a high salary as well as possibly forgiving student loans and the like (similar to military service)
